🛠️ 3rd Gen Audi LED Emblem Installation Guide for Q8 e-tron (2022-UP)

Applicable Models: Audi Q8 e-tron (2022–UP) & Q4 e-tron (2022–UP)

Note: The physical emblem mounting process is exactly the same for both the Q4 e-tron and Q8 e-tron. Please follow the standard 3rd Gen Audi LED Emblem instruction guide for mounting, and use the specific wiring steps below to get power for your Q8 e-tron.

Are there any Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or radar components positioned behind the emblem area on the Q8 e-tron (2022–UP)?

There is no Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) or radar sensor located directly behind the emblem on the Audi Q8 e-tron (2022–UP).

When installing the LED emblem, we highly suggest securing and tucking the wiring neatly so that it does not block or obstruct the center round camera/sensor bulb.

⚡ Q8 e-tron Fuse Box Power Connection

Based on successful installation feedback shared by our customers, here is the best way to wire the emblem using the fuse box:

  • Locate the Thermal System Slots: Look at the bottom of the provided diagram/pictures. Locate the three slots dedicated to the vehicle's thermal management system.
  • Connect the Fuse Plug: Plug the included 7.5A fuse box adapter into one of these three thermal system slots.

💡 How the Emblem Will Function:

Connecting to this specific fuse slot configures the emblem to sync perfectly with your car key commands:

  • When Starting: When you unlock, remote start, or turn on the ignition, the LED emblem will automatically power up, flash 3 times, and then stay cleanly illuminated.
  • When Turning Off: When you turn off the vehicle or lock it, the emblem will shut down.
  • Note on Delayed Shut-off: The emblem will not turn off instantly. Because the thermal system holds residual power for a short period, the emblem will stay lit for a few minutes until the vehicle's electrical system completely goes to sleep.
