Troubleshooting & Quality Update: Resolving Partial Illumination on Bronco LED Letters

At our company, factory quality and customer satisfaction are our top priorities. Every single set of our Bronco LED Letters is meticulously tested one-by-one by our factory engineers before being packaged and shipped. However, through valuable customer feedback, we recently identified a rare issue where only a portion of the set (such as just two letters) lights up after installation.

We immediately opened an official investigation with our engineering team to find the root cause, map out an immediate solution for current users, and implement a permanent factory fix.

The Cause: Road Vibrations and Series Wiring

Our investigation revealed that the issue is not caused by defective LEDs, but rather by a physical connection issue inside the wiring harness. Because the letters are wired in a sequence, they rely on a continuous electrical circuit.

When you are driving, normal road shock and vehicle vibrations can cause the pins inside the main plug connector to shift. If even a single wire becomes slightly loose or backs out of the plug, it breaks the circuit, causing the remaining letters in the chain to lose power and go dark.

Immediate Solution: How to Fix It Yourself

If your Bronco letters are currently experiencing partial illumination, you can easily resolve this by checking the plug connection:

  • Inspect the Plug of the light up letters: Locate the main wiring plug connector behind the grille.
  • Check for Plug of the light up letters Pins: : Examine the back of the plug to see if any individual colored wires have backed out or feel loose.
  • Secure the Connection: Firmly push any loose wire pins back into the connector plug until they are fully seated. Once the contact is restored, the entire set of letters will light up completely.

Our Permanent Factory Update

To ensure this problem is completely resolved and never happens again, our engineering team has updated our manufacturing process for all future production batches.

Moving forward, we are introducing a specialized electronic adhesive injection inside the plug housing. Once the factory pins are inserted into the plug during assembly, this high-grade glue will be applied to permanently lock the wires into place. This structural update guarantees that the pins can never shake loose, no matter how rough the road conditions are.

Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to refine and upgrade our products!
